A Washington man admitted to law enforcement that when he was cleaning his pistol in the kitchen of their home, it fired, hitting his wife in the chest, killing her. Those findings, when combined with other information garnered during the investigation led detectives to conclude the husband acted with negligence, resulting in the death of his wife.
