No one will really know why a young man decided to try to cross railway tracks while the crossing arm was coming down and signaling an oncoming train. The man was trying to maneuver around the barrier when the car he was driving, which belonged to his father, was hit by a TRAX train. The impact of this auto-train collision killed the young driver and a passenger; two other passengers were critically injured.
The family of one of the injured passengers has filed a personal injury lawsuit naming the driver, his father and his father’s employer (I presume the vehicle was owned by the company for the father’s use). The suit alleges the father let his son drive despite his bad driving record and habit of not paying attention to traffic rules. The young plaintiff was permanently injured in the auto-train collision.
It is likely that the other families of the other victims will consider pursuing lawsuits, as well. This was a horrific crash and they are entitled to seek compensation for their losses.
After all victims retain counsel and pursue lawsuits, they and their families may want to ask questions about the possibility of accessing lawsuit funding. A “litigation loan” could be a smart move for a family wondering how they were going to pay for the care of their injured child for the rest of their lives.
Pre-settlement funding is something that lets the victims deal with their medical expenses, therapy, etc., right away and then take care of other pressing financial business, like the mortgage and car payments.
A lawsuit cash advance will help them wait for a just and equitable verdict in their favor; it they are approved, funding can be completed within 24-48 hours, by check or wire. It is free to apply and funds are only required to be repaid if the case is settled or won. If you lose the case, the money is yours to keep, free of charge.

This is a tragic case, one that should never have occurred; a medication error took the life of a two year old child.
Apparently, the child was given a fatal overdose of Heparin while she was in hospital recovering from major organ transplant surgery. She was also recovering from gastroschisis (a birth defect in which an infant’s intestines protrude through a defect on one side of the umbilical cord). when she died, suddenly, when all signs indicated that she was making good progress. An investigation revealed that she had been given too much Heparin.
Although the hospital apparently tried to assist the parents any way they could to deal with the tragedy, there will be further investigations and it is more than likely the parents of this little girl will be talking to a personal injury lawyer about pursuing wrongful death or medical malpractice litigation.
The parents will have an enormous burden of grief to deal with, along with hospital expenses and funeral and burial costs. It’s likely to be a very overwhelming time for them, emotionally and financially. How will they maintain their bills and expenses under such extraordinary stress and strain?
If the investigation suggests that the hospital was negligent in its care and treatment of this unfortunate little girl, and litigation is pursued, there is a good possibility the family will be eligible for a lawsuit cash advance. This is a risk-free method of obtaining needed cash now, as litigation funding is contingent upon the outcome of the cases funded; if the family loses their case, it would not need to repay the lawsuit funding. Only if a case is successful does legal finance require repayment.
It is easy to apply for lawsuit financing; you may do so by phone or online. There are no up-front fees and no monthly payments. Legal funding may be used for any necessary expense, but we advise that it be utilized only for important bills and expenses, like medical or funeral bills, mortgage or rent payments, car payments, etc.

Lawsuit funding, also known as litigation funding or pre-settlement funding is an important tool for a cash strapped plaintiff to use when he/she needs a cash advance prior to settlement or court resolution of his/her lawsuit. Many of you don’t recognize a litigant’s dilemma. Lawsuits involving personal injury and/or disability take a long time to resolve; if the plaintiff is disabled from work, he/she may suffer through extreme financial hardship while waiting for the valuable case to settle or resolve by court verdict or appeal. Work loss results in financial hardship; medical bills, mortgage payments, rent, car payments, tuition, and other living expensive will accumulate while a plaintiff is disabled and without income. This is where a lawsuit cash advance may be used to alleviate financial pressure to settle the case too soon for too little; best of all, this is done with absolutely no risk to the plaintiff. Why, you ask? Because legal finance services do not require repayment unless you win the case. Stated another way, if you lose your personal injury case, you keep the legal funding company’s money and you don’t have to pay it back! In the legal community, this is referred to as a non-recourse transaction; repayment is contingent upon case outcome. The only collateral used for this settlement funding is your case; if your case is successful the lawsuit finance company is repaid its principal and profit. If the case fails, the money is free. That is the risk of non-recourse lawsuit funding. It is easy to apply for litigation funding; approvals are based on the strength of your case, alone; whether you qualify has nothing to do with your credit standing or job status. Job or no job, good credit or bad, if you have a qualifying lawsuit, you will qualify for a lawsuit cash advance. This means that ANYONE with a good personal injury case may apply and qualify for lawsuit financing.
Your attorney should be notified that you are seeking lawsuit financial services, as he/she is an important part of the process. Case records, provided by the attorney, are received and reviewed to qualify you for case funding. Thus, it is wise to give your attorney a “heads up” when you apply. The main focus of these “lawsuit loans” is to prevent you from allowing financial distress to cause you to settle your valuable case too early for too little. Lawsuit funding could make a real difference in the bottom line of your case and you owe it to yourself to check it out.

Lately, it seems that there has been an increase in contaminated food in the marketplace; even more shocking are incidents of contaminated water. What and who can we trust, these days?
This case occurred in Alamosa, Colorado, after a salmonella outbreak was identified in the city’s water supply. 29 affected families filed lawsuits in 2010. This was not a ’small’ outbreak; it hit hard, it hit fast, and over 2,000 people were ill and one is dead. Almost 40% of the city’s infants were experiencing symptoms.
Salmonella is tough for an adult to combat; it’s even worse for an infant. Many of the plaintiffs who filed personal injury lawsuits as the result of this outbreak, filed them on behalf of their children. An investigation has revealed that the water had been contaminated with animal feces containing salmonella bacteria; it somehow entered the city’s water supply in March 2008. The water was infected for a full week. The lawsuits indicate that the city water reservoir had not been cleaned/drained since 1984; it had holes and cracks and sediment of up to 18 inches at the bottom. And, shockingly, it had not been professionally inspected since 1997.
After the 2008 incident, the city water system was flushed for two weeks; a new treatment plant built. Of course, those after-the fact steps did not do much to mollify victims of what was called the “worst waterborne-disease outbreak in the US since 2004.”
Cases like this are tough to litigate and take time to come to some kind of resolution; either a settlement or a verdict. Any one of the 29 families may wish to inquire about litigation funding to assist them during their quest for justice in the case. Lawsuit funding is money for which litigants may apply, prior to resolution of their cases, to enable them to pay their bills now, while waiting for their cases to resolve.
It is easy to apply for litigation funding; often, one quick phone call or online visit will get a needy litigant started. Good uses for a lawsuit cash advance are medical bills, mortgage payments, car payments, tuition, groceries, etc.. Legal finance services permits litigants to wait for a fair and equitable resolution to their case without letting immediate financial concerns force them to settle too soon for too little compensation.

A 5-year old girl was bitten badly by a family pet, a police dog at home with its master, a police officer. The police officer was the girl’s uncle. Evidently, the dog had a lengthy record of attacking people and was known to be aggressive, but was not watched as carefully as he should have been.
The young girl was visiting with her uncle while he was outside doing yard work. She decided to go inside. The officer said he heard the attack and the screaming, but by the time he got inside, the dog had already ripped the child’s cheek apart. The family wonders why, if the uncle knew the police dog was aggressive and loose in the house, he would allow his niece to venture inside without him escorting her.
The child now has a permanent scar across her cheek; the scar and a fear of all dogs are lifetime reminders of this incident. The dog bite lawsuit seeks compensation for physical and emotional damages, plus permanent facial disfigurement.
This is a tough case for the parents of a little girl so badly traumatized. They face enormous medical expenses, the cost of drugs and therapy, counseling for post traumatic stress disorder and plastic surgery for facial scarring. This case will take a while to wind its way down the court docket.
Will the family need help with the bills relating to the care and treatment of their daughter? If so, one answer may be to apply for lawsuit funding. A lawsuit cash advance would let the family pay the medical bills, the costs for therapy, and even surgical costs for plastic surgery while they await justice.
Litigation funding means this family would not have settle too soon for too little because of pressure to pay accident related bills. They would be able to wait until justice is done and they get a fair settlement or verdict.

If you have suffered a severe spinal cord injury as the result of a car accident, motorcycle accident or even a fall that was the result of negligence on someone else’s part, then you may want to talk to a personal injury lawyer about filing a lawsuit. You’ll need to recover compensation for your personal injury damages, particularly the physical wounds, as you will need care for the rest of your life. There are some instances where a person does have an inherited condition, but in this post we are just focusing on paraplegia that was the result of an injured acquired in an accident.
What happens with paraplegia is that the channels through which your body sends signals to other body parts get disrupted. This interference in the signals being sent and received will cause not only a loss of sensation in the lower extremities, but sensory damage in the brain itself. When the brain is injured as well, it loses control over other neurological functions.
Contrary to popular myth, the spinal cord does not need to be severed to lose function and feeling. Generally speaking, the higher up the spinal cord the damage occurs, the more paralysis is involved; the result may be either paraplegia or quadriplegia.
While there is no cure for paraplegia, at least not yet, there are various therapies that make an enormous difference to the sufferer. Those therapies are both medical and psychological; some victims may regain minor functioning in their lower limbs if the swelling in their spinal cord goes down over time. Unfortunately, many paraplegics do not recover complete body functions.
The most dangerous complication of paraplegia is respiratory system damage; thus, most often, pneumonia is the leading cause of death for those with paraplegia. Further, loss of feeling can lead to serious injury to the paralyzed body part.
As you can see, there are many things that someone who has been diagnosed with paraplegia will face for the rest of their lives. This is why they need to speak to a competent personal injury lawyer, in order to get compensation that will cover their care.
The paraplegic who was injured in an accident caused by someone’s negligence may also want to check out the possibility of getting a lawsuit cash advance. This is a legal finance service that will provide funding to pay important bills and expenses as well as medical, home health care and physical therapy while waiting the case to be resolved. Lawsuit funding is based on the potential of your case. After your application and the receipt of information from your attorney, if approved, you will receive funding in as little as 24 hours. It might be the answer to your financial distress while you wait for your lawyer and the legal system to provide justice.
It should come as no surprise to you that if you ride a motorcycle, you are exposed to a wide variety of dangers on the road. The chances of being in an accident are higher, because drivers often don’t see bikers; the chances of serious injuries are very high because there is little protection to minimize your injuries.
While motorcycle safety teaches you how to ride and keep safety in mind at all times, it does not teach car and truck drivers how to pay attention to the road when a biker is sharing it with them. If drivers were more aware of what was around them, motorcycle crashes would, likely, decline in number. In today’s hustle-bustle society, with people always in a hurry, and all the distractions offered to drivers, motorcycle crashes are at an all time high.
Many states mandate biker helmets and biker safety courses. States should, at a minimum, require the same of drivers, but they don’t. Thus, most safety precautions fall on the biker; no matter how hard they may try, chances are, somewhere, someplace, a driver will not see a biker and an accident will happen. After a stay in the hospital and visits to the doctor or rehabilitation clinic, a trip to a personal injury attorney’s office may be in order. A lawsuit may be necessary to obtain compensation for serious injuries, pain and suffering, disability, wage loss, medical and rehab expenses, and property damage.
After your lawsuit has been filed, you may wish to inquire about litigation funding. The application process is simple. A lawsuit cash advance is designed for those who are disabled or who have missed significant time from work, have little money saved up, and no way to pay ordinary bills and expenses (mortgage, rent or car payments) in addition to medical expenses and other expenses resulting from their accident.
Lawsuit funding will let an injured biker await an equitable verdict or a fair settlement. This is far better than being forced to accept a “chump change” offer because your immediate financial situation is grim and bills must be taken care of right away. Legal finance might be just the answer for you to allow you to get out from under the horrendous debt load you incurred because of your accident.

This motorcycle-automobile accident case was eventually settled for $300,000. It was a bit unusual, as it was filed against a city because the person involved in the accident was a police officer. The officer was not the biker; the officer was driving the car that was hit by biker.
Here is how it happened: The biker was on his way westbound when a city police cruiser crossed right in front of him (across two lanes) without signaling and without the use of his siren. Witnesses said the biker went out of his way to try and avoid a collision but couldn’t make it happen. He hit the cruiser going 30 mph. the EMS crews at the scene were sure he was brain dead because his injuries were so severe.
The biker sustained severe traumatic brain injuries and head trauma, back and spine injuries and a broken leg. He was eventually diagnosed with cognitive disorder as a result of his traumatic brain injuries. Due to that diagnosis, a personal injury lawsuit was filed against the city. The decision was in favor of the plaintiff who will need care for the rest of his life.
While he may not have known this, the biker and his family, would likely have been eligible to apply for litigation funding. It would have allowed them to be able to wait for a fair and equitable settlement or court verdict. They would be able to pay medical expenses, deal with on-going therapy, pay for medications and other operations, as well as special equipment and life counseling. In addition, lawsuit funding would help pay for ordinary bills and expenses while they wait for justice.
A lawsuit cash advance is money given out in advance of a settlement and is based on the amount the personal injury lawyer feels the courts will award. People who apply for it don’t need to have a job, and don’t need a credit check either. Lawsuit funding usually arrives in about 48 hours or less after you have been approved.

Been bitten by a dog? Did you know that you have the legal right to ask for compensation for your injuries? Those costs may include treating the bite, medications, and shots, lost wages and pain and suffering. In most states the law is very clear about who is held liable when you get bitten. There are some variations from place to place, but your personal injury lawyer can help you sort that out when you speak to him or her.
In most states you can ask for compensation from any person whose negligence caused you to be attacked, any person who keeps a dog knowing full well it has a history of biting or any person who doesn’t have their dog on a leash, restraint or properly confined. In many cases a lawsuit like this varies because it depends on where you were attacked and how seriously you were injured. Serious dog bites require filing a personal injury claim for compensation. This is usually done with the help of a lawyer who will be able to get you justice. You should know that the lawyer will be dealing with the other person’s insurance company, so he may get the run around. That won’t last for long, because the attorney knows how to deal with things like that. They may try to low ball you, but your attorney won’t let that happen.
If you have been very seriously injured, or your child has been badly bitten and needs some serious medical care, you may want to find out more about litigation funding. Getting a lawsuit cash advance would let you take care of yourself or your child, pay your bills – all of your bills – and then be able to wait for justice.
While the insurance companies are playing around, trying to get you to accept less, a lawsuit funding will enable you to hold out for a just settlement or court verdict. There is no sense in losing dollars to get given pennies.

You may remember this case; it made worldwide headlines when the incident leading to the litigation occurred. A 22-year old man was shot and killed by a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) officer. It began innocently enough; although several young men were celebrating New Year’s and began to become rowdy on the train. This drew the attention of the Transit police, who pulled them off the train after getting reports of a fight on board.
The young man and his friends were told to sit on the train station platform and were asked a series of questions by the police. Just down the platform, someone was videotaping the entire event. At the subsequent, wrongful death, police misconduct trial, the jury saw the video. It provided graphic evidence showing one of the Transit police putting the 22-year old man into a face down prone position, effectively pinning him to the ground. While he was on the ground and not resisting, another Transit officer stood over him and shot him in the back. Although the man was taken to hospital, he died seven hours later as a result of his wounds.
Eyewitnesses indicated the man was cooperating with the police, that he did not have a weapon, that he repeatedly asked his friends to cooperate with the police and asked officers, over and over, not to hurt him because he had a four year old daughter at home. The devastated family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the BART agency and the officer who shot the young man.
This family waited long and hard for justice. During that time they still had to pay all their bills and other the incidentals that come with daily living. They were faced with enormous medical expenses on behalf of their son while he was in hospital, the funeral and burial expenses. Who would care for his daughter and the expenses related to taking over her care?
Maybe the family made use of a service known as lawsuit funding; a lawsuit cash advance would have allowed them to wait for a just verdict in their son’s wrongful death case. Litigation funding is all about helping people to immediately pay their bills and expenses without having to settle their case for chump change to do so. The infusion of a lawsuit cash advance takes an enormous burden off victims’ shoulders.
Legal finance services are easy to apply for; their is no credit check and you do not need to be employed. And, repayment of legal funding is contingent upon your recovery; if you lose your case, you do not have to pay the money back. It may just be what you need to get the justice you and your family deserve.
