Bus Accident Kills One And Injures 23 Reported Litigation Funding Corporation of Michigan

This bus accident was devastating for all those involved. Unfortunately, the experienced driver was killed on impact.

The busload of churchgoers was not expecting anything to happen on their way to a retreat. It was a typical California day and was slightly overcast, followed by periods of sun that melted the snow on the roads. The school bus was on its way to a planned retreat when the accident took place.

“The bus was rounding a curve on wet pavement when the driver lost control and the bus swerved into the oncoming lane of traffic. It slammed into a Nissan Murana, ripped a telephone pole out of the ground and slid at least 20 feet down an embankment. At the time of the accident, there were 23 people onboard, including the driver. The driver, a professional, was pronounced dead at the scene and 10 others were taken to various hospitals with serious injuries,” said Daren Monroe, who writes for Litigation Funding Corporation, Southfield, Michigan.

The police report said the highway where the crash took place was wet from melting snow, but there was no ice. They plan to conduct further investigations into the crash and find any possible eyewitnesses to the event. “There had to be some reason the driver lost control of his bus. The police will also be searching for any cell phones or other devices that may have been used prior to the wreck,” Monroe said.

The families of the children hurt in this accident will likely want to consult with their personal injury lawyers and find out how they can file claims for medical expenses. Some of the injured may be in hospital for a long time and may need therapy and rehab when they get out. For cash strapped families who need to pay unexpected medical bills along with their usual monthly obligations, they will be hard pressed to find the money.

One source of cash for them is to contact a litigation funding company and fill out an application form for a lawsuit cash advance. “Pre-settlement funding is easy to apply for and all the plaintiff needs is the details of their case. If it looks like a winner, the fast cash lawsuit loan will be out the door within 48 hours or less,” Monroe said.

Plaintiffs needing an emergency loan to help them pay their bills until their case goes to trial will be pleased to know that they do not need to pay any upfront money and there are no other hidden expenses of any kind. They get what they get: a lump sum to put in the bank and pay their bills. Legal funding is a real bonus for plaintiffs, as it lets them also refuse to take cheap offers from insurance companies looking for a fast settlement.
